Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1 hour) Grades 3+ Come join Microsoft for a transformative weekend as we honor the legacy and dream of Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. by hosting a special intimate fireside chat with Emmy nominee and Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Listen as he talks about his time with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., his life and legacy, and how he inspired Kareem to be an activist and fight for social justice. |

(1 hour) Grades 3+ The Jackson Home was the official residence where world leaders resided while planning the monumental Selma to Montgomery March.
Students will visit the home just as it was in 1965, and other historical points as they take the virtual walk from Selma to Montgomery. Minecraft: Social Justice Lesson
(1 hour) Grades 4th-8th NOTE: For Minecraft events, please make
sure you have the Minecraft application installed. https://aka.ms/MinecraftEducationAccess if not already installed Students will have the option of experiencing a Minecraft Education experience called "Lessons in Good Trouble" where they will journey through time with Congressman John Lewis to meet leaders of social justice movements such as MLK and Nelson Mandela who were catalysts for Good Trouble and positive change.
